Students will design their own personalized smartphones and present them to the class. Through this presentation, they will have the opportunity to explain what aspects of smartphones interest them, which features enhance their lives, and how these features improve their daily activities. By elementary school, most children have already had experience with smartphones. Some may own their own devices, while others are familiar with the smartphones of their friends or parents. These experiences, along with their desires and expectations for smartphones, will be reflected in the students' designs.
